LASH is once again at the B'more Healthy Expo on March 25, 2023. Visit our Health Screening Unit in the Baltimore Convention Center from 10am to 4pm. We will be vision and hearing screening with an emphasis on the vision of children aged 6 months to 6 years. We are collecting used eyeglasses, hearing aids and cell phones.

LASH in conjunction with the UMBW Medical Center and Lions from several clubs will be vision screening at the Brooklyn Park Library on March 7, 2023 from 2pm to 4 pm. Utilizing our SPOT vision screening device, we are able to screen children from ages 6 months to 6 years for 12 eye conditions. Adults are screened for visual acuity. There is no cost.

November 19, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pmFive Lions from Ellicott City/Columbia, Glenwood and Clarksville Lions clubs screened the vision of seven people with three referrals. Fifteen people had their hearing screened. Six of them were referred for additional testing by professionals.
